If anyone has had trouble setting up an account with PayPal in order to buy tapes it is due to their latest "upgrade" which in the name of security sometimes puts the user into an inescapable loop. Until they fix this, here is the workaround:
1. Close the PayPal browser window.
2. Go to www.paypal.com and log in using the email and password you set up with them.
3.Check that your credit card info is correct, especially the expiration date and the verification number which is the last 3 numbers printed on the BACK of your credit card on the strip where you sign your name.
4. Once you have corrected your card info go back to www.hawkinscheung.com/video.htm and proceed as before except this time you will be a registered user of PayPal.
PayPal says their users have fewer problems when using Microsoft Explorer. If this doesn't solve your problem or if you have any other problem trying to use the PayPal pages, call their 24HR service number; 888-221-1161. Sorry about the glitch, folks. We went with PayPal because it is one of the most trusted sevices used by ebay.
